  20. 'massaging', and most of all, an appealling price, it could do OK as a 
  21. low end expandable machine.

  29. don't seem to be, do they.

  36. Frankly I think the idea of flogging something as "a totally new 
  37. approach..." is a recipe for disaster in the home pc market, at least in 
  38. N. America (not that we'll see them anytime soon anyway).  This would 
  39. scare off all those thinking of buying something for the kids....here, 
  40. what they want to see first and foremost is something that's going to be 
  41. here for a while.  "New" implies 'risk'.

  43. Now, a similar, but more 'buyer-friendly' way to say the same thing would 
  44. be "the NEXT generation of personal computing", capitalizing on the 
  45. growing awareness of how long in the tooth the x86 based systems are 
  46. getting.  Esp. would it be good to let buyers know they'll be able to 
  47. upgrade this baby to a RISC processor.  This is unlikely to be a selling 
  48. point of an Intel box for some time, IMHO.
